About booking and payment form

Booking a TRIP (trek or train) requires a deposit of 50% + 5% of the total trip price. Please note that this deposit is required to purchase train and entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, all subject to availability. After confirming your deposit and reservation, the outstanding balance will be paid when you arrive in Cusco, either 48 hours before departure or during your briefing. If you do not want this option, we can offer you other options such as Paypal or WesterUnion. You can contact us to help you.

If you do not pay any outstanding balance before departure, you will not be able to participate in your scheduled trip. For this, we have tracking sheets from the beginning of your reservation during and after the tour.

About trip itineraries

All Peruvian Culture Tours  Agency walks are subject to itinerary changes based on a variety of circumstances. Peruvian Culture Tours reserves the right to cancel or change any trip due to river, road, weather conditions, or political climate. We also reserve the right to cancel any trip due to the client’s unsuitability due to age, poor health, poor physical fitness, intoxication, etc.

Any tours missed due to the above-mentioned incidents (e.g. weather conditions or political climate) cannot be refunded or made up.

The price and duration of a hiking trip will never change once you are registered. Payments are non-refundable for itinerary changes or public land closures. If a trip is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, a credit will be issued applying our Travel policies.

Policy and Cancelations

Change policy

The 4-day Inca Trail tour cannot be changed date. Alternative treks such as Salkanaty, Lares, Huchuy Qosqo, Choquequirao, and Ausangate can change the departure date or route of your trek after making the Sera reservation as long as there is availability for the requested date, therefore, there will be a penalty charge of $80 per person. One-day tours can be modified without any cost as long as there is a minimum of 2 days advance notice to make the change.

Cancelations by cliente

Inca Trail 4 Days

For group or private 4-day Inca Trail tours, there is a restriction, permits are limited. The cancellation of the tour once the written confirmation is received entails the loss of the reservation deposit. Cancellation of the tour one week before departure results in a loss of 100% of the total tour cost. Non-refundable. and by train that ends in Machupicchu.

It is not possible to change dates after the permit has been purchased and processed. It is non-transferable and non-refundable. Deposit will be forfeited and penalty costs will be applied. Please note that we do this because we are prohibited from reselling your spot/permits after you have canceled. However, you can use part of the entry permit to Machu Picchu with other tours such as Lares, Salkantay, and Huchuy Qosqo or train tours to Machu Picchu as long as they are on the indicated dates.

Alternative treks to Machupicchu and tours by Train

Short Inca Trail Tours, Lares, Salkantay, Ausangate, Huchuy Qosqoy Train They have no restrictions, you can book them up to one day before the tour. Cancellation of the tour after receiving detailed written confirmation results in forfeiture of the reservation deposit. Cancellation of the tour one week before departure results in a loss of 80% of the total tour cost. Nonrefundable.

In the case of a short Inca trail, It is impossible to change the dates after the permit has been processed. These are non-transferable and non-refundable permits. The deposit will be lost. Please note that we do this because we are prohibited from reselling your place after you have canceled.

In the case of the Salkantay Lares, Salkantay, Ausangate, Huchuy Qosqoy tours, and train tours, the date can be changed no more than one month as long as there is availability and there is an open group and with a prior penalty.

Cancellation of the tour 24 before departure results in a loss of 80% of the total tour cost. Nonrefundable.

Package Tour in Cusco Peru

Tour packages of 4, 8 days, or more require an initial deposit of 50% and can be booked up to one month before the trip’s start (subject to availability) without any restrictions. Cancellation of the trip after receipt of detailed written confirmation will result in forfeiture of the booking deposit. Because the entrance fees to Machupicchu and train tickets are non-transferable, cancellation of the trip one week before departure will result in the loss of 80% of the trip’s total price. Non-refundable.

Cusco Hikes –Full Day Tours without train

The full-day tours have no restrictions, you can book up to one day before the tour. Cancellation of the tour after receiving detailed written confirmation results in forfeiture of the reservation deposit. Cancellation of the tour 24 hours before departure results in a loss of 90% of the total tour cost. Nonrefundable.

Medical releases

We require medical releases for prospective guests over 70 years of age and for various circumstances such as a history of cardiovascular disease, chronic illness, and other conditions and factors.

Let know to the guides if you consume any medical tab, pill, or chronic illness to prevent any accident or emergency case, If you have the first aid kit brought for the trail will be very useful for member hikers.

Travel Insurance

For your protection, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance. Travel insurance provides you with trip cancellation or interruption, travel delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, and baggage delay coverage to protect your financial investment. Medical coverage purchased with your policy will also satisfy our requirement for health insurance.
