Day 1: Cusco , Ollantaytambo – Km 104 Chachabamba- Wiñay Wayna- Machu Picchu Incan city -Aguas Calientes Town.
We begin our journey with a 4 AM pickup from your hotel in Cusco. From there, we’ll drive to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where we’ll board the 6:10 AM train to the 104 km mark, marking the start of our short Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu.As we trek, you’ll be treated to stunning views of farmlands, snow-capped mountains, and the Sacred Valley, a source of the Green Amazon,After our two-day tour exploring the incredible Machu Picchu, we’ll transition to the traditional four-day Inca Trail,We’ll enjoy lunch at Wiñay Wayna, with a box lunch provided.Then, we’ll continue toward the Machu Picchu Sun Gate, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. After soaking in these views, we’ll descend toward the iconic Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.Finally, we’ll spend the night in Aguas Calientes, reflecting on the day’s incredible experiences.
Day 2: Machu Picchu tour – Ollantaytambo – back to Cusco.
Breakfast.To start the day, we’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel, ensuring you’re fully energized for the exciting day ahead.
Bus to Machu Picchu.Afterward, we’ll board a bus for a scenic 35-minute ride up to the Machu Picchu entrance.As you ascend, take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, which will only build your excitement for the ancient wonder that lies ahead.
Walk to Machu Picchu Entrance.Alternatively, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can opt to walk uphill for about an hour and a half. This gradual climb will not only bring you closer to Machu Picchu but will also reward you with stunning vistas along the way, making the journey even more memorable and rewarding.
Machu Picchu Tour.Once you arrive, we’ll enter the Machu Picchu ruins, where your tour guide will have your entrance tickets and personal passport ready.From here, you’ll embark on a fascinating 2.5-hour guided tour of the site.Throughout the tour, you’ll explore the impressive architecture, Inca hydraulic engineering, and other remarkable features, all while learning about the rich history and culture that make Machu Picchu one of the most iconic sites in the world.
Return From Machu Picchu Incan city.After the tour, we’ll begin our return journey from Machu Picchu. As we head back to the base, you’ll have some time to relax and reflect on this unforgettable experience.
Lunch.Next, you’ll enjoy a delightful lunch at one of the top restaurants near Machu Picchu.Afterward, we’ll proceed to the train station, ensuring you arrive at least 30 minutes before your train departs.This will give you plenty of time to settle in and prepare for your journey back.
