Day 1: Cusco Biking Abra Malaga -Santa MarÃa: rafting.
Pick up from your hotel at 5:00 am, departing from Cusco to head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we will have a short stop to shop or go to the bathroom and have breakfast. We start the tour to Machu Picchu through the Inca Jungle at Abra Malaga, the starting point of our biking tour of three hours (55 km), from where we will see the beginning of the Peruvian Amazon cloud forest.
Enjoying the cycling activity, and then we will continue with our private transport to the Santa Maria district where we will have our lunch, and dinner, And then spend the night.
In Santa MarÃa, we have the option of rafting on the Urubamba River. This river offers us categories from I, II, and III + rapids. And we need these, helmets, windbreakers, and life jackets of category V will be provided. This activity is canceled in the rainy season from December to March because of the high rain.
Day 2: Santa MarÃa – Inca Jungle Trail to Santa Teresa.
Us second day of the Inca Jungle tour, we will start with a delicious breakfast with Peruvian green avocado and then will be ready to do the 4-day Inca Jungle Trekking Tour. We will travel to the community of Santa Rosa for 20 minutes. And Santa Rosa is the starting point of our first day of trekking to the community of Kellomayo where we will enjoy a delicious lunch accompanied by guacamole. So on the way to Kellomayo, we will enjoy, such as jungle fruits such as bananas, mangoes, passion fruit, organic coffee plantations, and coca plants as well as a great variety of fauna from insects to mammals, reptiles, etc. In the Valley of the Inca Jungle, we will have an explanation of the Huancarccasa Canyon, the Salkantay trek view, and the Vilcabamba Mountain.
Then we will descend walking to the town of Quellomayo where a delicious lunch awaits us, and after lunch, we will have 25 minutes of rest. We will then head to the district of Santa Teresa, where we will spend the night and have our dinner. Optional (not included): the thermal baths of Cocalmayo – please let us know in advance if you would like to visit.
Day 3: Santa Teresa – Llaqta Pata -Aguas Calientes Machupicchu.
On day three of the Inca Jungle trek tour, after a varied breakfast with tropical fruits from the area, we will start the day traveling to the Lucma Bamba trekking point. Here, we will have a coffee tour and Peruvian coffee tasting. Then we will walk and arrive at the archaeological center of Llactapata, and enjoy the panoramic view of Machu Picchu, the sacred city of the Incas, and its valleys and ravines. The adventure continues with a descent until reaching the hydroelectric dam. Then we hike from the trekking point to the hydroelectric dam, which takes approximately 5 and a half hours. Then we will have our lunch and rest, and then start the hike to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes), which is approximately 3 hours of walking. We will our dinner and settle in the hotel.
Day 4: Machu Picchu Tour – Ollantaytambo – Cusco City.
Explore Machu Picchu on day 4, one of the 7 Wonders of The World. But, Machu Picchu sanctuary is open from 6:00 am. We will start with breakfast at our hotel and our guide will explain the restrictions of Machu Picchu. We will take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu Park. Furthermore, we need to have entrance tickets to Machu Picchu and a personal passport because once we enter the Inca city, we have a 3-hour guide in Machu Picchu for instance. Machu Picchu Park was declared a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.this important archaeological park was built by the Inca Pachaquteq around 1450. Admire the architecture and the Inca hydraulic engineering and essential sites of the archaeological center. Return from Machu Picchu and enjoy your lunch in one of the good restaurants in Machu Picchu. Make sure you arrive at the train station 30 minutes early. To board the return train, our staff will wait for you at the Ollantaytambo station and take you to your hotel in Cusco.

About booking and payment form
Booking a TRIP (trek or by train) requires a deposit of 50% of the total price of the trip. Please note that this deposit is mandatory to buy the train and entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, all subject to availability. After your deposit and reservation then confirmed, your outstanding balance is due when you arrive in Cusco, either 48 hours before departure or during your briefing. If you do not pay outstanding balances before departure, you cannot participate in your scheduled trip. The final acceptance of any participant is subject to the receipt and review of all the forms, documents, and payments required.
About trip itineraries
All Peruvian Culture Tours hikes are subject to itinerary changes based on a variety of circumstances, Peruvian Culture Tours reserves the right to cancel or change any trip due to river, road, weather conditions, or political climate. We also reserve the right to cancel any trip due to client unsuitability because of age, ill-health, poor fitness, intoxication, etc.
Any missed tours due to the above-listed incidences (eg weather conditions or political climate) cannot be refunded or recuperated.
The price and duration of a hiking trip will never change once you’re registered. Payments are not refundable for itinerary changes or public land closures. If a trip is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control a trip credit equal to the full amount paid will be issued.
Change policy
If you wish to change the date of departure/ and or route of your trek after making the reservation/deposit, there will be a $50 per-person fee to make the change. Except if the change is made in the 48 hours prior to the trek, when the change will cost $100 per person.
Cancelations by client:
Cancelation of the tour once you have received a written confirmation incurs a loss of booking deposit -A non-refundable booking deposit.
- Cancelation of the tour within 45 to 22 days before the date of tour departure incurs a loss of 70% of the total tour cost.
- Cancelation of the tour within 21 to 9 days before departure incurs a loss of 80% of the total tour cost.
- Cancelation of the tour within 8 days to 48 hours before departure incurs a loss of 100% of the total tour cost.
- Peruvian Culture Tours does not take responsibility for additional costs due to unfavorable weather conditions, natural catastrophes, strikes, accidents, illness, injury, loss of personal items, etc. It is the client’s responsibility to carry insurance to cover these types of events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any of the unforeseen conditions listed above.
Medical releases
We require medical releases for prospective guests over 70 years of age and for various circumstances such as a history of cardiovascular disease, chronic illness, and other conditions and factors.
Let know to the guides if you consume any medical tab, pill, or chronic illness to prevent any accident or emergency case, if you have the first aid kit brought for the trail will be very useful for member hikers.
