Day 1: Arrival in Lima – Overnight

Welcome to Lima, the international gateway to Peru.
The next few days will be filled with unforgettable adventures as you discover the beauty, culture, and history of this incredible country. Upon arrival at Lima Airport, our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the picturesque neighborhood of Miraflores, where you can relax and enjoy a well-deserved rest after your flight.

if you would like to explore more of Lima and its surroundings, we recommend adding an extra day to your itinerary. Optional excursions include a city tour of Lima, the coastal landscapes of Paracas, the stunning desert oasis of Huacachina, and the world-famous Nazca Lines for an unforgettable experience.

Day 2: Flight to Cusco & Sacred Valley Overnight

After breakfast, a comfortable private transfer arranged by Peruvian Culture Tours will take you to Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco.

Upon arrival at the airport, our representative will warmly welcome you with a personalized sign displaying your name, ensuring an easy and seamless meeting. From there, you will travel by private van through the breathtaking Andean landscapes on the way to the beautiful Sacred Valley.

After approximately two hours, we will arrive at your hotel in the Sacred Valley, where you will spend the night in a comfortable and peaceful setting. The valley’s mild climate and lower altitude make it the perfect place to relax and acclimatize before beginning your adventures in the Andean highlands.

Day 3: Explore Machu Picchu with sunset

Day 4: Free  Hours in Machu Picchu – Return to Sacred Valley

Today, you can enjoy a relaxing morning with extra time to rest before breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes. Afterward, you will have free time to explore the charming town, visit the local handicraft and textile markets, or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings at the foot of Machu Picchu.

Later, we will accompany you to the train station approximately 35 minutes before departure for your scenic tourist train journey back to Ollantaytambo. During the two-hour ride, you can relax and admire the spectacular landscapes of the Andes once again.

Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, our representative from Peruvian Culture Tours will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. You will then be transferred by comfortable private van to your hotel in the beautiful Sacred Valley, where you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 5: Sacred Valley Tour at your own pace

After breakfast at your hotel, begin your Sacred Valley adventure from Ollantaytambo at 8:30 a.m. Accompanied by your professional guide, travel in comfortable private transportation to explore some of the region’s most remarkable Inca sites and cultural attractions.

Start with a guided visit to the impressive archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where you will discover ceremonial temples, agricultural terraces, and remarkable Inca engineering. Continue to the local market of Urubamba, offering an authentic glimpse into daily life in the Sacred Valley.

Enjoy lunch at a tourist restaurant in Urubamba before visiting the spectacular Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt pools cascade down the mountainside, creating one of the most unique landscapes in Peru.

In the afternoon, explore the fascinating archaeological site of Moray, renowned for its circular agricultural terraces that served as an experimental center for the Incas.

After the tour, return to Cusco, concluding a memorable day of history, culture, and breathtaking Andean scenery.

Day 6: Cusco City Tour & Inca Mummies Museum

Discover the wonders of Cusco on an unforgettable half-day city tour beginning at 8:30 AM. After breakfast at your hotel, our professional guide will greet you and accompany you in comfortable tourist transportation for an enriching journey through the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.

During the tour, you will explore some of the most iconic archaeological sites surrounding Cusco, including the majestic Sacsayhuamán, the ceremonial center of Qenqo, the military outpost of Puka Pukara, and the sacred water temple of Tambomachay. Along the way, you will learn about the fascinating history, impressive architecture, and enduring traditions of the Inca civilization.

The experience also includes a visit to the Inca Mummies Museum, where you will gain unique insights into ancient Inca culture, rituals, and burial practices.

The tour concludes at approximately 1:30 PM, leaving you with free time to continue discovering the charm, culture, and beauty of Cusco at your own pace.

Day 7: Departure From Cusco

After enjoying a delightful breakfast at your hotel, our team will transfer you to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport approximately 3 hours before your flight departure to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey.

From Cusco, you will board your flight to Lima, where you will have enough.
