Day 1: Arrival in Lima City Tour
Upon your arrival at the airport, our Peruvian Cultures team staff will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name to give you a warm welcome to our country and to transfer you to your hotel in Lima later.
Pickup from your hotel in Miraflores, San Isidro, or Lima’s Historic Center.
Huaca Pucllana (panoramic view): Admire this pre-Inca ceremonial center, built with adobe, situated in the heart of modern Miraflores.
Plaza Mayor: Visit Lima’s main square, surrounded by iconic buildings such as the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, and the Archbishop’s Palace.
San Francisco Convent & Catacombs: Step inside this masterpiece of colonial architecture and descend into its mysterious underground catacombs.
Modern Lima (San Isidro & Miraflores): Drive through elegant neighborhoods, stopping at the Parque del Amor (Love Park) with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 2: Paracas, Ica, and Huacachina with Buggies and Sandboarding (From Lima)
Early Morning – Departure from Lima:
We begin our journey with a comfortable private transfer from your hotel in Lima to the city of Paracas, located along Peru’s stunning Pacific coast.
Ballestas Islands Tour:
Upon arrival, we head to the pier to board a modern speedboat for a half-day excursion to the Ballestas Islands, a true sanctuary of marine life. During the ride, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Paracas Bay and the San Martín Port. One of the highlights is the mysterious Candelabro geoglyph, a gigantic figure etched into the sand dunes—128 meters long and 74 meters wide—resembling the Nazca Lines and visible only from the sea.
As we reach the Ballestas Islands, prepare to be amazed by the abundant wildlife: playful sea lions, colonies of Humboldt penguins, and thousands of seabirds that call these rocky formations home. The dramatic cliffs and natural arches make this one of the most scenic landscapes on Peru’s coast.
Huacachina Oasis Adventure:
After the tour, we continue to Huacachina, a stunning desert oasis surrounded by towering golden dunes. Here, you can enjoy free time to explore, take memorable photos, or opt for an adrenaline-filled dune buggy and sandboarding experience.
Return to Lima:
Following a day of exploration and adventure, we return to Lima and drop you off at your hotel.

Day 3: Arrival in Cusco and acclimatization
Upon arrival at the airport in Cusco, the Inca City, a representative of Peruvian Culture Tours will be there to give you a warm welcome and welcome you to our historic city. You will then be transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle for your comfort. After checking in, you will have the rest of the day to relax, settle in, and begin discovering the captivating Inca city, which sits at an altitude of 11,300 feet. Since it is your first day, it is best to take it easy and allow your body to acclimate. To ease the transition to the altitude, we recommend enjoying light meals and leisurely walks around the city. This will help your body to gradually adapt as you begin to enjoy the stunning cultural and historical surroundings.

Day 4: Sacred Valley & Maras Salt Mine
The Sacred Valley tour is where we will begin an unforgettable trip to the Salt mine of Maras and Moray, the Incan site, and then to Urubamba, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will head on to visit Ollantaytambo, before heading to the train station to take the train to Aguas Calientes town, where you will find your pre-arranged 3-star hotel.

Day 5: Machu Picchu Tour in Private – Back to Cusco
We will start with breakfast at the hotel and then take the bus to Machu Picchu. Upon arriving at the entrance of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, we will begin the 2-or 3-hour guided walking tour, discovering the many sacred sites in the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu. After the Machu Picchu Discovery tour, we recommend that you return to the town of Aguas Calientes no later than 2 hours before the train, leaving you time to enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants in Aguas Calientes. Be sure to arrive at the Machu Picchu train station 30 minutes before your departure back to Cusco.

Day 6: Half Day City Tour – Explore the four Inca ruins
Discover the fascinating history and ancient wonders of Cusco on this exciting half-day tour. We’ll begin with a scenic drive to the outskirts of the city to visit the most important Inca archaeological sites.
Our first stop is Sacsayhuamán, an impressive fortress known for its enormous stone walls and panoramic views of Cusco. Next, we’ll explore Qenqo, a sacred ceremonial center where the Incas performed rituals dedicated to their gods. We’ll then continue to Puca Pucara, a small military complex that once protected the entrance to Cusco. Finally, we’ll visit Tambomachay, also known as the “Bath of the Inca,” famous for its finely carved stonework and flowing water channels that still run today.
This tour offers a perfect introduction to Inca engineering, spirituality, and history — all set against the stunning backdrop of the Andes.

Day 7: Humantay Lake

Day 8: Rainbow Mountain Tour
Embark on an unforgettable adventure to the majestic Rainbow Mountain, one of Peru’s most spectacular natural wonders.
06:00 – 06:15 am – Pick-up from Hotel in Cusco
Your day begins with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel. We travel for approximately three hours in private tourist transport towards the district of Cusipata, where a delicious breakfast will be served.
Journey to & Start of the Hike
After breakfast, we continue by car to the starting point of our trek. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the high Andean landscapes, where alpacas and llamas graze freely, offering a glimpse into the daily life of local mountain communities. Your experienced guide will share insights into the culture, traditions, and natural surroundings.
Trek to Rainbow Mountain
The hike takes approximately 2 to 3 hours through stunning terrain. Upon reaching the summit, you’ll be rewarded with the breathtaking sight of Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), its vibrant mineral-rich layers creating a natural masterpiece. From here, you can also admire the striking Red Valley, deep gorges, and the south face of the Ausangate Mountain range.
Exploration & Photography
Enjoy free time to explore the area, take photos, and immerse yourself in the serenity of the Andes while your guide provides detailed explanations about this unique geological formation.
Return Hike & Lunch
After exploring, begin the return hike (1 to 2 hours) back to the bus station. From there, we drive back to Cusipata to enjoy a well-deserved lunch.
Return to Cusco
Our private transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco. The journey takes around three hours, with an estimated arrival time between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Day 9: Route of the Sun
Exclusive cultural bus experience from Cusco to Puno, where you can discover the Ruta del Sol (the Inca Sun Route). which is a day-long tour throughout the Andean countryside with 5 stops to see various Incan ruins and historical sites. It is by far the most comfortable and fun way to make the trip from Cusco to Puno. Approximate arrival in Puno is 5 pm. Pick up from the bus station to your Hotel.
