Day 1: Immersive Trek and Guided Discovery of Huchuy Qosqo.

Pickup from the hotel at 6:30 a.m. We will drive to the starting point of the trek, Ichu Cancha, for 1 1-hour and 30-minute drive in a private van. As we start our trek to Huchuy Qosqo, an Incan city, we will be guided by a knowledgeable tour guide who will educate us on the local flora and fauna. Our challenge is to reach the Rumi Cruz pass at 4100 masl / 13186 feet, then we will head to the community of Pukamarka for lunch. Our chef will be waiting with a local drink as a welcome drink. Then we will have our tasty lunch with amazing panoramic views.

After lunch, we continue walking to Huchuy Qosqo Inca city, enjoying the amazing views. Arriving at Huchuy Qosqo, we will explore the religious site and the urban sector, which is the palace of King Wiracocha, father of Pachacutec. After that, we will spend the night in the Huchuy Qosqo community in a local family in the mountains. Then we have tea time and dinner.

Day 2: Explore the Sacred Valley – Overnight in Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu Town.

Awaken at 6:30 am with a soothing cup of aromatic muña tea, the perfect start to another unforgettable day in the Andes. After a nourishing breakfast, set out on a scenic mountain hike lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours, surrounded by stunning landscapes.

Following the hike, our private transport will take you through the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas. Your first stop will be the fascinating Maras Salt Mines, a dazzling network of ancient salt pools still in use today. Next, enjoy a delicious lunch in the Maras district, savoring authentic local flavors.

In the afternoon, continue to Moray, the remarkable Inca agricultural laboratory, where concentric terraces reveal the ingenuity of Inca engineering. From there, journey to the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo, where you’ll explore its impressive archaeological complex and cobblestone streets.

Later, board an Expedition Train for a two-hour train ride to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town). Upon arrival, your tour guide will accompany you to a comfortable 3-star hotel for check-in. In the evening, enjoy a well-prepared dinner before retiring for a restful night—ready to experience the wonders of Machu Picchu the next day.

Day 3: Guided Exploration of Machu Picchu and Return to Cusco City.

Explore Machu Picchu on day 3, one of the 7 Wonders of the World, the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. We will start with breakfast at our hotel, then we will go to the bus station to take a bus to Machu Picchu for 35 35-minute drive. After spending 3 hours exploring Machu Picchu, we will admire the architecture and Inca hydraulic engineering, as well as the important sites within the archaeological center of Machu Picchu. Return from Machu Picchu and enjoy your lunch in Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu town

Tourist Train.

Our tour guide will escort you to the train station in Aguas Calientes to board your train back to Ollantaytambo. Please arrive at the train station at least 30 minutes before you leave. Once you arrive in Ollantaytambo, take our bus for 1 hour and 30 minutes back to Cusco to your hotel.

The difficulty is moderate, Before embarking on a Moderate trek or tour, you should be at least partly acclimatized to the high altitude of the Andes as it affects your oxygenation, energy levels, and hydration.
