Day 1: Alpaca Farming, the Pisaq Incan site, a Demonstration of Guinea pig on a stick, and an overnight stay in Machu Picchu town.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am to begin our journey to the Pisaq Inca site in the Sacred Valley. After exploring, we continue to the Huchuy Qosqo community, known for guinea pig farming. There, you’ll enjoy a traditional Guinea Pig on a Stick Demonstration, prepared as in Inca times. Lunch is served with native potatoes at Parwa Restaurant. Afterward, we visit the impressive Ollantaytambo Inca site. From there, we take a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), where we’ll have dinner and spend the night before visiting Machu Picchu.
Day 2: Machu Picchu tour – back to Cusco City.
After breakfast at the hotel, take the bus from Aguas Calientes for a 35-minute ride to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, meet your guide, who will have your entrance ticket and passport. Enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour through the ancient citadel, exploring its remarkable Inca architecture, engineering, and history. After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, head to the train station, arriving at least 30 minutes before departure. Enjoy the scenic journey back to Cusco, ending an unforgettable experience.
