Cusco Combo Package 5-Days /4-Nights

Day 1: Arrival in Cusco and City tour

Morning: Upon arrival at the airport, our Peruvian culture tours team will be waiting for you to give you a warm welcome and then transfer you to your hotel in the historical center.

From midday: our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to some of the best archaeological sites. The Temple of the Sun Koricancha, and archaeological sites around Cusco such as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. After the excursion, we will return to our hotel in the city.

Evening: Enjoy a traditional Peruvian dinner and one of Cusco’s best restaurants and rest.

Day 2: Sacred Valley tour -Train to Machupicchu Town.

Morning: we will have breakfast at our hotel, and we will start our trip to the Sacred Valley, we will start with the pick up from the hotel around 7:00 am with our official tour guide and private transportation.

Activities: In the Sacred Valley tour, we will visit the Inca site Chinchero, the Incan site of Moray known as the ancient Inca laboratory. Then we will descend to the salt mines of Maras, where salt is cultivated using techniques still inherited from their ancestors, we will learn its history and culture.

Lunch in Urubamba: Enjoy a unique culinary experience with a buffet lunch in Urubamba. Savor a variety of dishes from Peruvian and Andean cuisine. Accompanied by live music that reflects the spirit of the Andean people, this moment becomes a celebration of local culture.

After Lunch: we will head to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, an iconic location that served as the last stronghold of the Incas. Here, we will explore its impressive structures and terraces, learning about its history and significance in Inca resistance.

Train to Machu Picchu town-overnight: after visiting Ollantaytambo Inca ruins, we head to the train station to take our train to Machu Picchu town, the train goes a 2-hour drive to Machu Picchu village. Then we will head to the hotel to spend the night as soon as we arrive in Machupicchu town.

Day 3:Explore Machu Picchu, Incan city.

Morning: After breakfast at your hotel, transfer by bus to the sanctuary to take the bus for 35 minutes to the gate of Machu Picchu. To start our tour of Circuit 2 considered the best because it covers the best of Machupicchu Incan city.

Activities: you will have a guided tour by a professional expert guide through the citadel, exploring its key and sacred sites of the lost city of the Incas, its culture, history, flora and fauna that surrounds it. After the guided tour in the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes by bus, as it is included in our package.

Lunch in Machupicchu village: time to enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants in Aguas Calientes village.

Train back to Ollantaytambo: then transfer to Cusco for overnight and dinner and rest.

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain Full Day

Morning travel to rainbow Mountain: Early in the morning, we will take our private transportation to the mountain, with breakfast provided by our hotel or we can also opt for a local breakfast in the district of Cusipata. Then we will start our full day excursion to Rainbow Mountain.

Activities: We will explore the ascent to the rainbow Mountain, we will see Andean animals that live above 4msnm like alpacas and llamas, which are part of the daily life of the high Andean communities. Our guide will give us the details of each place we will pass through, and here we will be able to see the impressive Rainbow Mountain of Cusco, which is formed by natural mineral formations. The hike up can last between 1:30 to 2 hours at a moderate pace, and 1 hour or less on the way down.

Lunch in Cusipata Village: We will have time to enjoy the lunch Peruvian cuisine. Then, we will return to the city of Cusco. Arriving in Cusco at 16pm approx.

Day 5: Leaving from Cusco

Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to Cusco airport and departure to Lima for connections with international flights.
