Sacred Valley Tour Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
Firstly. The best Sacred Valley Tour and Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu ruins are designed for everybody. Secondly, we will visit the Chincheros Inca site, the Moray Incan laboratory, the salt mine of the Incas, and the Ollantaytambo Inca site. Then, we will go to our hotel overnight in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On day 2, we have a train journey to 104. We will start the short Inca trail hike to have a unique experience with a knowledgeable tour guide in history and bird watching in the Machupicchu area. We have our lunch at the wiñay Huayna Inca site. Then, we will continue to the sun gate in Machupicchu. Then, we will arrive at Machu Picchu ruins to appreciate the Machu Picchu sunset and the classic photos of Machu Picchu ruins. On day 3, we will visit Machu Picchu city.
- Day 1: Chincheros Incan site, Moray Incan laboratory, Salt mines of Maras and Ollantaytambo Incan site.
- Day 2: Ollantaytambo –Km 104 Chachabamba, Wiñay Wayna Mountain, Machu Picchu classic photo and Aguas Calientes town.
- Day 3: Aguas Calientes town – Machu Picchu tour, Return to Ollantaytambo and Cusco city.
Day 1: Cusco-: Chincheros, Moray Inca Site, Maras Salt Mines, Ollantaytambo Inca Site.
We will pick you up from your hotel around 7:00 a.m. for the Sacred Valley Tour and Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu ruins. Then we will start to go to an alpaca textile shop located in chincheros community, then we continue to the Chincheros Incan ruins, then we will go to the Moray Incan laboratory. Then we will go to the salt mine of Maras and after that, we will have lunch in Urubamba. And after lunch, we continue to go by transport to Ollantaytambo, Incan place to explore.
In the community of Yanahuara, we will have an exhibition of chicha Inca beer in the sacred valley of the Incas. Then we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo where you will receive the explanation, then we will go to the Hotel in Ollantaytambo, we will enjoy dinner in Ollantaytambo.
Day 2: Ollantaytambo: train to Km 104 Chachabamba, shot Inca trail to Machu Picchu Incan ruins -Aguas Calientes town.
The Short Inca Trail Tour to Machu Picchu Llacta is a beautiful Incan path, it begins with the pickup from your Hotel in Ollantaytambo at 5:00 am. Next, we will go to the Train Station to Machu Picchu of the Sacred Valley of Ollantaytambo, and we take the train to km104. Where, we will start our short Inca trail with a connection to Sun Gate Machu Picchu, Incan place.

Along the Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, you will see spectacular views of farmlands of tropical fruit plantations, snow-capped mountains, valleys, and ravines of Machu Picchu, sources of the Amazon Serpent River. After enjoying the trip to Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the world, Machu Picchu Incan city, then We will visit to Machu Picchu Incan ruins with sunset and take classic photos of Machu Picchu Inca city. The day, the travelers will be gone, leaving the entire area of Machu Picchu for you. After taking photos of Machu Picchu, We take the bus from Machu Picchu city to Aguas Calientes town. After that we will have our delicious dinner in the best restaurant in Machu Picchu and overnight in Aguascalientes town.
Day 3: Machu Picchu Inca city– back to Cusco city.
BREAKFAST: First, we will have breakfast at the hotel.Afterward, we recommend you take the bus from Aguas Calientes town.
BUS TO MACHU PICCHU: Next, we will board a bus for a 35-minute ride up to the Machu Picchu entrance.
WALK UP TO MACHU PICCHU ENTRANCE: Alternatively, you may choose to walk uphill for about an hour and a half, during which you will gradually ascend towards the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Along the way, you can enjoy the stunning scenery before you reach your destination
MACHU PICCHU TOUR: Upon arrival, we will enter the Machu Picchu ruins with your tour guide, who will have your entrance tickets and personal passport. Once inside, enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour of the site. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to admire the impressive architecture, Inca hydraulic engineering, and other significant sites within the archaeological center.
RETURN FROM MACHU PICCHU: After the tour, we will head back from Machu Picchu.
LUNCH: Then, enjoy lunch at one of the excellent restaurants near Machu Picchu. Following lunch, make your way to the train station, ensuring that you arrive at least 30 minutes before your train departure.

About booking and payment form
Booking a TRIP (trek or by train) requires a deposit of 50% of the total price of the trip. Please note that this deposit is mandatory to buy the train and entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, all subject to availability. After your deposit and reservation then confirmed, your outstanding balance is due when you arrive in Cusco, either 48 hours before departure or during your briefing. If you do not pay outstanding balances before departure, you cannot participate in your scheduled trip. The final acceptance of any participant is subject to the receipt and review of all the forms, documents, and payments required.
About trip itineraries
All Peruvian Culture Tours hikes are subject to itinerary changes based on a variety of circumstances, Peruvian Culture Tours reserves the right to cancel or change any trip due to river, road, weather conditions, or political climate. We also reserve the right to cancel any trip due to client unsuitability because of age, ill health, poor fitness, intoxication, etc.
Any missed tours due to the above-listed incidences (eg weather conditions or political climate) cannot be refunded or recuperated.
The price and duration of a hiking trip will never change once you’re registered. Payments are not refundable for itinerary changes or public land closures. If a trip is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control a trip credit equal to the full amount paid will be issued.
Change policy
If you wish to change the date of departure/ and or route of your trek after making the reservation/deposit, there will be a $50 per-person fee to make the change. If the change is made in the 48 hours prior to the trek, the change will cost $100 per person.
Cancelations by clients:
Cancelation of the tour once you have received a written confirmation incurs a loss of booking deposit -A non-refundable booking deposit.
- Cancelation of the tour within 45 to 22 days before the date of tour departure incurs a loss of 70% of the total tour cost.
- Cancelation of the tour within 21 to 9 days before departure incurs a loss of 80% of the total tour cost.
- Cancelation of the tour within 8 days to 48 hours before departure incurs a loss of 100% of the total tour cost.
- Peruvian Culture Tours is not responsible for additional costs due to unfavorable weather conditions, natural catastrophes, strikes, accidents, illness, injury, loss of personal items, etc. It is the client’s responsibility to carry insurance to cover these types of events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any unforeseen conditions.
Medical releases
We require medical releases for prospective guests over 70 years of age and for various circumstances such as a history of cardiovascular disease, chronic illness, and other conditions and factors.
Let know to the guides if you consume any medical tab, pill, or chronic illness to prevent any accident or emergency case, if you have the first aid kit brought for the trail will be very useful for member hikers.
