Your adventure begins with a 6:30 a.m. pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We will travel by private vehicle for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to Ichu Cancha, the starting point of our scenic trek.

From here, we begin our hike toward the impressive Inca site of Huchuy Qosqo. Along the trail, your knowledgeable guide will share insights about the native flora, fauna, and Andean landscapes that surround us.

Our main challenge today is reaching Rumi Cruz Pass (4,100 m / 13,186 ft), where we will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Andean highlands. After descending from the pass, we continue toward the Huchuy Qosqo community, where a warm welcome awaits. A local family will greet us with a traditional welcome drink, followed by a delicious homemade lunch.

In the afternoon, we will explore the fascinating Inca complex of Huchuy Qosqo, including its religious sector and urban area, believed to have been a royal estate associated with Viracocha Inca, the father of Pachacuti. From this remarkable archaeological site, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley.

In the evening, we will settle into a comfortable local family lodge in the Huchuy Qosqo community, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains. The day ends with tea time and a traditional dinner, offering a genuine cultural experience with the local Andean community.

Awaken at 6:00 am with a soothing cup of aromatic muña tea, the perfect start to another unforgettable day in the Andes. After a nourishing breakfast, set out on a scenic mountain hike lasting approximately 3 hours, surrounded by stunning landscapes.

Following the hike, our private transport will take you through the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas. Your first stop will be the fascinating Maras Salt Mines, a dazzling network of ancient salt pools still in use today. Next, enjoy a delicious lunch in the Maras district, savoring authentic local flavors.

In the afternoon, continue to Moray, the remarkable Inca agricultural laboratory, where concentric terraces reveal the ingenuity of Inca engineering. From there, journey to the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo, where you’ll explore its impressive archaeological complex and cobblestone streets.

Later, we will drive you to a comfortable 3-star hotel in Ollantaytambo, in the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you can relax and recharge after an unforgettable day of adventure.

Today, explore the best Circuit in Machupicchu after a delicious breakfast in your hotel will drive you to the train station to board the Expedition Train for a two-hour ride to Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu Town. Upon arrival, we will have time to buy water, then our tour guide will accompany you to the bus station to take a bus to Machu Picchu for a 35-minute drive with nice panoramic views. Then we will enter to explore the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu. After spending 3 hours exploring Machu Picchu, we will admire the architecture and Inca hydraulic engineering, as well as the important sites within the archaeological center of Machu Picchu. Return from Machu Picchu and enjoy your lunch in Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu town.

Our tour guide will escort you to the train station in Aguas Calientes to board your Panoramic Vistadome Train back to Ollantaytambo for 2 hours Journey. Once you arrive in Ollantaytambo, we will be waiting for you with your name at the exit, then we will take a van to Cusco for 2 hours until your hotel, the end of our trip.

The difficulty is moderate, Before embarking on a Moderate trek or tour, you should be at least partly acclimatized to the high altitude of the Andes as it affects your oxygenation, energy levels, and hydration.
