After breakfast, Peruvian Culture Tours will take you by private vehicle to the traditional Andean community of Chinchero, an approximately one-hour drive through the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a local Quechua-speaking family and settle into your accommodations. You will take part in the preparation of a traditional Pachamanca, one of the Andes’ most cherished culinary traditions. Day 3: Sacred Valley Tour & Salt Mine of Maras

After breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, your private guide from Peruvian Culture Tours will meet you in the lobby at 8:00 a.m. to begin an unforgettable full-day exploration of the legendary Sacred Valley of the Incas. Traveling in the comfort of private transportation, you will discover some of the most remarkable archaeological, cultural, and natural treasures of the Andean highlands.

This extraordinary site provides fascinating insight into their advanced engineering, agricultural innovation, and deep understanding of the natural environment.

Next, visit the spectacular Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt ponds cascade down the mountainside, creating a breathtaking mosaic of white terraces. Continuously worked since pre-Inca times, this unique site remains one of the most iconic and photogenic landscapes in the Peruvian Andes.

At midday, arrive in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a carefully selected restaurant featuring a combination of traditional Peruvian specialties and international cuisine.
