Day 1: Cusco – Vistadome panoramic train – Aguas Calientes
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 9:00 a.m. and drive through the Sacred Valley to the Ollantaytambo train station. Then, enjoy the stunning Vistadome panoramic train—a 2-hour journey surrounded by snow-capped mountains, lush valleys, Inca terraces, and the first glimpse of the subtropical cloud forest. The sacred Vilcanota River will accompany us all the way to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
Upon arrival, a representative from Peruvian Culture Tours will welcome you and walk you to your 3-star hotel. Later, your private guide will meet you at the reception for a short briefing and explain everything you need to know for the next day’s unforgettable visit to the legendary Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu.
Day 2: Machu Picchu Tour – Back to Cusco
After a restful night in Aguas Calientes, begin your day early breakfast at your hotel then we have a scenic bus ride for 35 minutes to the majestic Machu Picchu. Once there, step into a world of mystery and wonder as your expert tour guide leads you through its fascinating ruins.
Explore Machu Picchu with your private, official tour guide for 3 hours, including sacred temples, impressive stonework, and ancient terraces, while uncovering the powerful history and spiritual meaning behind each structure.
