Day 1: Cusco Biking Abra Malaga -Santa María: rafting.
Morning: Pick up from your hotel at 5:00 am, departing from Cusco to head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas bus ride is 1:20 minutes, where we will have a short stop to shop or go to the bathroom close to Ollantaytambo.
Breakfast: in the Sacred valley close to Ollantaytambo where we will have a short stop to shop or go to the bathroom .we will stop for 30 minutes to have a good breakfast then we will continue.
Activities: we will continue with the bus ride to Abra Malaga pass 4316 m on the way we will appreciate the view of the snow capped mountains, alpacas, lamas, potatoes farming lands. Then we arrive to Abra Malaga pass 4316 m, the starting point of our biking tour. First, we will give you the equipment for biking of three hours biking down the road 55 km, from where we will see the beginning of the Peruvian Amazon cloud forest.
Cycling activity finished: Then we will continue with our private transport to the Santa Maria district for 45 minutes.
Lunch In Santa María: we will have our lunch, and after lunch we will show you your rooms, then you can have optional activities rafting on the Urubamba River. This river offers us categories from I, II, and III + rapids. And we need these, helmets, windbreakers, and life jackets of category V will be provided. This activity is canceled in the rainy season from December to March because of the high rain, after this activity we have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Santa María – Inca Jungle Trail to Santa Teresa.
Morning: Second day of the Inca Jungle tour, we will start with a delicious breakfast with Peruvian green avocado and then will be ready to do the 4-day Inca Jungle Trekking Tour.
Activities: We start with the trekking for 5 hours in the jungle passing communities, we start to go up gradual enjoying the landscape of the mountains.
On the way to lunch, we will visit local families to have a coffee experience. Then we will walk on the Inca Trail enjoying the beautiful views and on the way we will enjoy, such as jungle fruits such as bananas, mangoes, passion fruit.
Lunch in kellomayo community: lunch accompanied by guacamole and accompanied by fresh fruit juice. And after lunch, we will have 30 minutes of rest. Then head to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo we are at the thermal baths for 2 hours then we go to Santa Teresa district, where we will spend the night in the hotel and have our dinner.
Day 3: Santa Teresa — hydroelectric -aquas calientes town.
Morning: On day three of the Inca Jungle trek, after a varied breakfast with tropical fruits from the area at 7:am.
Activities: we will start at 8:am with optional activities zip line for 2 hours in Santa Teresa district, then we will take a bus for 40 minutes to hydroelectric.
Lunch in Hydroelectric: we have a delicious lunch at 12:00 and rest for 30 minutes, and then we will start the hike to Machu Picchu town 10 km close to the train rail for 3 hours of trekking to Machupicchu town, Our official tour guide is knowledgeable in flora and fauna.
Overnight: When we arrive in Machu Picchu town, we will go to the hotel to have a little rest and then have dinner at 7pm in a good restaurant in the town.
Day 4: Machu Picchu Tour – Ollantaytambo – back to Cusco City.
Morning breakfast at 6:00am: Explore Machu Picchu on day 4, one of the 7 Wonders of The World. Machu Picchu sanctuary is open from 6:00 am. We will start with breakfast at our hotel and our official tour guide will explain the restrictions of Machu Picchu.
Activities: After breakfast, We take a bus to Machu Picchu Park we need to have entrance tickets to Machu Picchu and a personal passport. once we enter the Inca city of Machupicchu, we will have a 3-hour guide Machu Picchu tour. As soon as we finish the guided Machu Picchu tour. we come back to Aguas Calientes town taking the tourist bus.
Lunch in Machupicchu town : Return from Machu Picchu and enjoy your lunch in one of the good restaurants in Machu Picchu. Make sure you arrive at the train station 30 minutes early. To board the return train, our staff will wait for you at the Ollantaytambo station and take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

About booking and payment form
Booking a TRIP (trek or by train) requires a deposit of 50% of the total price of the trip. Please note that this deposit is mandatory to buy the train and entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, all subject to availability. After your deposit and reservation then confirmed, your outstanding balance is due when you arrive in Cusco, either 48 hours before departure or during your briefing. If you do not pay outstanding balances before departure, you cannot participate in your scheduled trip. The final acceptance of any participant is subject to the receipt and review of all the forms, documents, and payments required.
About trip itineraries
All Peruvian Culture Tours hikes are subject to itinerary changes based on a variety of circumstances, Peruvian Culture Tours reserves the right to cancel or change any trip due to river, road, weather conditions, or political climate. We also reserve the right to cancel any trip due to client unsuitability because of age, ill-health, poor fitness, intoxication, etc.
Any missed tours due to the above-listed incidences (eg weather conditions or political climate) cannot be refunded or recuperated.
The price and duration of a hiking trip will never change once you’re registered. Payments are not refundable for itinerary changes or public land closures. If a trip is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control a trip credit equal to the full amount paid will be issued.
Change policy
If you wish to change the date of departure/ and or route of your trek after making the reservation/deposit, there will be a $50 per-person fee to make the change. Except if the change is made in the 48 hours prior to the trek, when the change will cost $100 per person.
Cancelations by client:
Cancelation of the tour once you have received a written confirmation incurs a loss of booking deposit -A non-refundable booking deposit.
- Cancelation of the tour within 45 to 22 days before the date of tour departure incurs a loss of 70% of the total tour cost.
- Cancelation of the tour within 21 to 9 days before departure incurs a loss of 80% of the total tour cost.
- Cancelation of the tour within 8 days to 48 hours before departure incurs a loss of 100% of the total tour cost.
- Peruvian Culture Tours does not take responsibility for additional costs due to unfavorable weather conditions, natural catastrophes, strikes, accidents, illness, injury, loss of personal items, etc. It is the client’s responsibility to carry insurance to cover these types of events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any of the unforeseen conditions listed above.
Medical releases
We require medical releases for prospective guests over 70 years of age and for various circumstances such as a history of cardiovascular disease, chronic illness, and other conditions and factors.
Let know to the guides if you consume any medical tab, pill, or chronic illness to prevent any accident or emergency case, if you have the first aid kit brought for the trail will be very useful for member hikers.

Travel insurance provides you with trip cancelation or interruption, travel delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, and baggage delay coverage to protect your financial investment.
