The Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun was an Inca ceremony that took place annually in Cusco, the capital of Tawantinsuyo, between the end of the harvest period and the beginning of the vernal equinox of the Andes. That is, in the second half of June. The Inti Raymi in the time of the Incas was the equivalent of what the New Year’s party is for us today.
This June 24th live with us one of the biggest celebrations in the capital of Tawantinsuyo Cusco. Full of Colors, Culture, and tradition.
We will be able to appreciate this experience from the tribunes in Korikancha, and Sacsayhuaman accompanied by a professional Quechua-speaking guide who will interpret all the dialogues in the ceremony for you.
