Day 1: Cusco city — Rainbow Mountain Peru hike and Red Mountain tour — Cusco city.
Today you Will visit Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley with peruvian culture tours will pick you up from your hotel at 6:00 a.m. and travel by private tourist transport for approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes to Pitumarca. Along the scenic route,from pitumarca you will observe herds of alpacas and llamas an essential part of daily life in the high Andean communities—often sharing the road with alpacas and llamas, adding a unique touch of local authenticity to the journey.
Upon arrival at the trailhead, our professional tour guide will provide a safety briefing and be fully equipped with a first aid kit and oxygen to ensure a comfortable experience. The hike to Rainbow Mountain takes approximately 2 to 3 hours at a steady, unhurried paceon the way its posible t osee lot of alpacas and llamas. At the summit, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain’s vibrant mineral formations. We will then continue walking toward the impressive Red Valley, with spectacular views of the Ausangate Mountain Range dominating the landscape. You will have ample time to explore, take photographs, and fully immerse yourself in this extraordinary natural setting.
After the visit, we descend to meet our transport and drive approximately 1 hour to Cusipata,(its opcional ) where a freshly prepared lunch will be served.
Finally, we return to Cusco by private transportdriving about 2:35 minutes, arriving at your hotel between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.
