1-day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu
The one-day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu is the best way to enjoy. This Inca land offers you to see flora and fauna, part of the classic Inca trail, Machupicchu Inca city. It is an exciting challenge when we reach Machu Picchu through the Inca trail network that linked the Tahuantinsuyo in the Inca’s time. Our trek begins at kilometer 104 of the railway, passing through the Chachabamba Inca site and Wiñay Huayna Inca site, sun gate, ending the trek at the imposing Inca city Machupicchu ruins. Enjoy the sunset at Machu Picchu city, passing through photo points of Machupicchu.
At the end of the Machupicchu tour, go down by bus to Aguas Calientes. There you can take the train to Ollantaytambo. From here, our Peruvian Cultures Tours transfer will pick you up to return to Cusco directly to your hotel in Cusco.

3:30 am: We will start with the pick-up from the hotel. Our guide will go with mobility to your hotel to direct you to the citadel of Ollantaytambo where we will board the train to kilometer 104. Where the guide will give you an individual Box lunch in a snack textile bag per person: to avoid the use of plastic bags that pollute our environment. During your trek, you will receive an explanation of the full-day Inca trail. Our first hiking point to the archaeological site of Chachabamba. a religious site for the worship of water, and at the same time served as a place of refuge for Machupicchu.
We will then walk for three hours to the next archaeological site of Wiñayhuayna, a group of houses grouped in a single field. In the manner of the current condition, it is believed that it was the enclosure of the Inca priests. After exploring this place, we will enjoy a delicious and refreshing box lunch. After lunch, we will continue walking for 45 minutes until we find the Inti Punku or Puerta del Sol. Where you will appreciate the citadel of Machu Picchu in all its magnitude.
The last part of our full-day excursion on the Inca trail will last 1 hour until we reach the archaeological park of Machu Picchu.
Finally, we will arrive at Machu Picchu, and we will have a guided tour of the main points, such as the temple of the condor, the main square, the urban sector, the circular tower, the sundial, the Inca cemetery, etc. Bus back to Aguas Calientes where you will have time to relax and then board the train back to the city of Ollantaytambo where our private Peruvian Culture Tours transport will be waiting for us to take us to Cusco.

About booking and payment form
Booking a TRIP (trek or by train) requires a deposit of 50% of the total price of the trip. Please note that this deposit is mandatory to buy the train and entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, all subject to availability. After your deposit and reservation then confirmed, your outstanding balance is due when you arrive in Cusco, either 48 hours before departure or during your briefing. If you do not pay outstanding balances before departure, you cannot participate in your scheduled trip. The final acceptance of any participant is subject to the receipt and review of all the forms, documents, and payments required.
About trip itineraries
All Peruvian Culture Tours hikes are subject to itinerary changes based on a variety of circumstances, Peruvian Culture Tours reserves the right to cancel or change any trip due to river, road, weather conditions, or political climate. We also reserve the right to cancel any trip due to client unsuitability because of age, ill health, poor fitness, intoxication, etc.
Any missed tours due to the above-listed incidences (e.g., weather conditions or political climate) cannot be refunded or recuperated.
The price and duration of a hiking trip will never change once you’re registered. Payments are not refundable for itinerary changes or public land closures. If a trip is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, a trip credit equal to the full amount paid will be issued.
Change policy
If you wish to change the date of departure/ and or route of your trek after making the reservation/deposit, there will be a $50 per person fee to make the change, except if the change is made in the 48 hours prior to the trek, when the change will cost $100 per person.
Cancelations by cliente:
Cancelation of the tour once you have received a written confirmation incurs a loss of booking deposit -A non-refundable booking deposit.
- Cancelation of the tour within 45 to 22 days before the date of tour departure incurs a loss of 70% of the total tour cost.
- Cancelation of the tour within 21 to 9 days before departure incurs a loss of 80% of the total tour cost.
- Cancelation of the tour within 8 days to 48 hours before departure incurs a loss of 100% of the total tour cost.
- Peruvian Culture Tours is not responsible for additional costs due to unfavorable weather conditions, natural catastrophes, strikes, accidents, illness, injury, loss of personal items, etc. It is the client’s responsibility to carry insurance to cover these types of events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any unforeseen conditions.
Medical releases
We require medical releases for prospective guests over 70 years of age and for various circumstances such as a history of cardiovascular disease, chronic illness, and other conditions and factors.
Let know to the guides if you consume any medical tab, pill, or chronic illness to prevent any accident or emergency case, if you have the first aid kit brought for the trail will be very useful for member hikers.

Travel insurance provides you with trip cancellation or interruption, travel delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, and baggage delay coverage to protect your financial investment.
